Give two important uses for each of washing soda and baking soda

i) Uses of washing soda :

  1. Sodium carbonate (washing soda) is used in glass, soap and paper industries.
  2. It is used for removing permanent hardness of water.
  3. It is used in the manufacture of borax,
    ii) Uses of baking Soda :
    1)Used for making baking powder which is a mixture of baking soda and tartaric acid.
  4. It is also used in soda - acid fire extinguishers.
    3)It acts as mild antiseptic.
