Valence Electrons :
The number electrons present in the outermost orbital of an atom are called valence electrons.
Valence electrons depend upon the number of electrons present in that atom.
The total number of covalent bonds that an atom of an element forms is called covalency of the element
Covalency depend upon the valence electrons.
