Preventive measures for sports injuries are :
(i) Avoid training when you are tired.
(ii) Use appropriate training surfaces.
(iii) Introduce new activities very gradually.
(iv) Pay attention on hydration and nutrition.
(v) Never train hard if you are stiff from the previous effort.
(vi) Physical therapy is given.
(vii) Allow lot of time for warming-up and cooling-off.
(viii) Increase in training should be matched with increase in resting.
(ix) Equipment should be appropriate and safe to use.
