The presence of CO reduces the amount of avail-able haemoglobin of RBC because of formation of carboxyhaemoglobin.
Thus oxyhaemoglobin is not formed and transport of oxygen to different body cells cannot take place.
Whereas presence of C${{O}_{2}}$ can lead only to green house effect causing global warming.
