Which are called specialised types of parenchyma? Explain.

The various types of specialised parenchyma are
(i) Chlorenchyma These parenchymatous cells possess abundant chloroplasts. Chlorenchyma is found in leaves and cortex of young stems.
(ii) Aerenchyma A parenchyma with well developed intercellular spaces, which forms a connected air system throughout the entire plant is known as aerenchyma. It is common in submerged plants.
