What are the guidelines for the construction of good table (any four)?

Following are the guidelines for the construction of good table :
(i) Heading : Headings should generally be written in the singular form. For example, in the columns indicating goods, the word ‘good’ should be used.
(ii) Abbreviations : Use of abbreviations should be avoided in the heading or sub-heading of the table.
(iii) Footnote : Footnote should be given, only if needed.
(iv) Total in the table, sub-totals of the items must be given at the end of each row.
