Ocean waves of time period of 0.01 s have a speed of 15 ms . Calculate the wavelength of these waves. Find the distance between a crest and adjoining trough.

Given , time period of the waves, T = 0.01 s
Speed of the waves, v = 15 m/s
Wavelength of these waves ,$\lambda $ =v/V
$\lambda $ = v x t = 15 x 0.01 = 0.15 m
The distance between crest and adjoining trough = $\lambda $/2 = 0.15/2 = 0.075 m
