Let x = 0.235= 0.23535…
Multiplying both sides by 10,10x = 2.3535 … (i)
Multiplying both sides by 100,
1000x= 235.3535 … (ii)
Subtracting Eq. (i) from Eq. (ii), we get
990x = 233
∴ x= 233/990
