There are large nomber of workers in the service sector who rarely manage to earn a living and yet they perform these services because no alternative opportunities for work are available to them, e.g., workers engaged in services such as smaTI shopkeepers, repair persons, transport persons, cattle owners. Therefore, this part of the service sector is not growing in importance.
