Explain the terms, ‘fission’ and ‘regeneration’ as used in relation to reprodcution.

Fission: It refers to a type of asexual reproduction which occurs in certain unicellular organisms. A unicellular organism divides into parts called the binary fission sevreal parts called the multiple fission. The parts hence formed from an organism are genetically identical to organism (Parent).

Regeneration: This refers to a form of asexual reproduction which occurs in certain invertebrates. The animals form new organisms from their existing body parts. When an organism is cut into parts, then each part develops into a new individual (organism).
