- A vessel is composed of a row of cells placed one above the other.
- It is a non-living cell with lignified walls.
Tracheid :
1.They are comparatively short and are usually upto 1 mm. in length.
2.A tracheid is a single cell which is elongated and has tapering end walls.
3.It is a tubular dead cells with wide lumen.
