Who all are included in the selection committee by Govt, of India to give national sports awards ?
According to Govt, of India the selection committee to choose an Awardee would now be headed by eminent sportspersons and not sports ministers. The 12 members committee comprises :
— 5 Olympians from different disciplines.
— former Arjuna Awardees.
— 2 sports adminstrators. (either from the federation or sports ministry)
— 1 member secretary.
