During the First World War, there was a massive change in women’s clothing in Europe.
In 1915, the changes introduced in women’s clothing in Europe were
(i) Large number of women started working so their clothes became shorter, plainer and simpler and in sober colour.
(ii) Women stopped wearing jewellery and luxurious clothes. Short skirts and trousers . became popular. Most of the working women cut their hair short for convenience.
