By periodic classification of the elements we mean the arrangement of the elements in such a way that the elements with similar physical and chemical properties are grouped together and for this various scientists made contributions but however the contributions made by Mendeleev are of great significance and he gave a periodic table which called as Mendeleev’s Periodic Table which was older and replaced by long form of periodic table.
