Consumer groups should have forced the business organisations or groups to strictly follow rules and regulations laid down by the government.
They should also have supervised whether these rules and regulations are fully implemented or not.
On behalf of consumers they should launch complaints to seek redressals. They should organise mock street plays to make the people aware about the consumer’s rights and their duties as a good „ consumer.
