We often observe domestic waste decomposing in the bylanes of residential colonies. Suggest ways to make people realise that the improper disposal of waste is harmful to the environment.
(i) It can act as a reservoir for breeding of disease causing pathogens.
(ii) It can release greenhouse gases which can further result in global warming.
(iii) It can release foul smelling gases like $H_{2}$S, N$H_{3}$ and other poisonous gases formed during decomposition of organic material.
