The Britishers imposed different types of rules like Wasteland Rules, laws like Forest Act, taxes like grazing tax and permit system. These changes had severe impact to the livelihood of pastoralist. Hence, for survival they adapted to the situations and reacted to the situation either by reducing number of cattle in their herds, or moved to new places, formed partnership with farmers, started cultivation etc. What values do you learn from these pastoralist and how do you think it will help you in your life?

When faced with difficult situation the pastoralist did not give up but stood firm and made changes in their lifestyle accordingly. From this we learn the values of determination, courage and innovation.
Because of strong determination and courage pastoralist or a nomadic tribe exists even today. Innovation could be learnt from the way they made partnership with farmers so that they could graze their cattle during harvesting season.
In real life we should imbibe these values as life throws various challenges at different point of time. A strong detemination and courage with a touch of innovation will help us to face challenges bravely.
