If a green plant is kept in dark with proper ventilation, can this plant carry out photosynthesis? Can anything be given as supplement to maintain its growth or survival?
It would die because plants need sunlight for photosynthesis. The sun is the only thing that Will help plants make their own food. If there is a small opening in the room that let in sunlight however, the plant would grow towards the opening or the light to get it’s food.
