If a double stranded DNA has 20% of cytosine, calculate the percentage of adenine in the DNA

Given, cytosine = 20%
.’. Percentage of Guanine = 20%
Now according to Chargaff’s rule, A + T = 100 — (G + C) => A + T = 100-40
.’. Percentage of Thymine = Percentage of Adenine
= 60%/2 = 30%
