How is the graph y = 3x^2 + 2 different from y = 3x^2
the graph of y=3x^2 is a parabola touching the origin. that is the vertex is at the origin. the graph of y=3x^2 +2 is similar like the previous parabola except that it does not touch the origin. the vertex is at (0,2).
so all the values of the second function is increased by 2. which is evident from the equation y= 3x^2 + 2. hope this helps. i have the graph but i do not know how to attach it to the solution since i am new to slader.
