The process of adjusting the focal length called accomodation has to be done by
eye itself. Sometimes the eye may gradually lose its ability for accomodation. In such condition the person cannot be able to see the object clearly and comfort¬ably. In this situation lenses are used in spectacles to correct dejects of vision.
