How did the tank battle look like in wwii?
Tank battles took many different forms in World War Two, depending on the purpose of the battle and the strategy behind it. Often tanks were used to break through the lines of enemy forces and to disable either enemy tanks or infantry. They were also used to support infantry units in their advancements or to destroy buildings which housed any enemy troops. Large scale battles using only tanks were practically nonexistent, and they were primarily used in addition to infantry and artillery units along with air support.
