How did the First and Second Industrial revolutions impact Europe? How were they related to and from each other?
The First and Second Industrial Revolutions impacted Europe by heavily speeding up their production of new industrial goods, technologies, and resources while also increasing their consumption of resources and labor.
This also led to the rise of the factory system, the cities, and the empire system which became intensified with the onset of the Second Industrial Revolution.
They were related to each other in that the first industrial revolution’s developments helped to bring about the second industrial revolution. The Second Revolution also helped to spread and make mainstream many of the developments of the first revolution, which, up until the Second, could only be found in a few developed places.
