How can hereditary risk factors affect your overall level of health?
Answer:
hereditary risk factors will most likely a person’s overall health. Since they’re not really as preventable as other health risks, there’s not -usually- a way to avoid this.
I found this answer on google since it is much more complicated that what I would have written. “People probably carry from 5 to 10 variant or disease genes in their cells. Problems actually arise when the disease gene is dominant or when the same recessive disease gene is present on both chromosomes of a pair. Problems also occur when several variant genes interact with each other – or with environment – that increase susceptibility to diseases.”
And me personally, it depends what risk factors there are. Every person is different. In my family, it is quite common that some would get a form of cancer. So the risk factor for cancer in the future for me is very high.It won’t effect my health currently but, it definitely will in the future.
