The problems which a consumer may face in the process of redressal are
(i) It may be time-consuming, as the consumer may have to take out time from his daily activities for filing a complaint, engaging a lawyer, attending hearings, etc.
(ii) It may be expensive, as a consumer has to engage a lawyer.
(iii) If cash memos or receipts are not issued, then it makes the collection of evidence difficult.
