Glass panes fixed to windows or doors of old buildings are found to become thicker at the bottom because the glass flows down very slowly and makes the bottom portion thicker

Some glass objects from ancient civilisations are found to become milky in appearance because of crystallisation of glass. Crystallisation of such glass occurs due to regular heating and cooling (during day and night) of glass over a long period of time.
