(i) Photosynthesis is the phenomenon of synthesising food by the green plants.
The conditions necessary for photosynthesis are presence of sunlight and chlorophyll and raw material, i.e. $CO_{2}$ and water.
(ii) In the condition given, sunlight was missing due to which the plants lacked their proper growth.
(iii) Geetika was practical, intelligent and careful person.
