Explain why there is no waste in a forest.
Answer:
Forests have organisms, called decomposers, which degrade the forest organic waste,
i. e., dead plant parts, animal excreta and animal dead bodies. The decomposed organic material mixes in the soil and increases its fertility. Therefore, forests do not have wastes.
