Define the term : (a) Federal Government (b) Federal Division of Powers

(a) Federal Government is a type of government in which powers are shared among government at different levels like a central government for the entire country and governments at the provincial, sub-national or regional level.
A government for the entire country is usually called “Federal Government”.
(b) Federal Division of Powers is such a power sharing arrangement in which constitution of the country clearly lays down the division of powers at different levels of government.
In this arrangement, division of powers involves the higher and lower levels of government like union/ Nation, states/provinces and local.
