Compare the structure of ${{H}_{2}}$O and ${{H}_{2}}$${{O}_{2}}$

Structure of ${{H}{2}}$O molecule—Water in the gaseous form is a bent molecule (u-shaped) with H—O—H bond angle of 104.5° and O—H bond length 95.7 pm. It is polar in nature.

Structure of${{H}
{2}}$${{O}_{2}}$—It has a non-planar structure. The molecular dimensions in the gas phase and solid phase are shown in fig. given below. The two oxygen atoms are joined by a single electron pair bond.
