Compare the structure of ${{H}_{2}}$O and ${{H}_{2}}$${{O}_{2}}$

Structure of ${{H}{2}}O molecule—Water in the gaseous form is a bent molecule (u-shaped) with H—O—H bond angle of 104.5° and O—H bond length 95.7 pm. It is polar in nature. <img src="/uploads/db3785/original/2X/3/301e3ca396799a45ab25c431e0f071c588b92a43.png" width="437" height="500"> Structure of{{H}{2}}$${{O}_{2}}$—It has a non-planar structure. The molecular dimensions in the gas phase and solid phase are shown in fig. given below. The two oxygen atoms are joined by a single electron pair bond.
