Compare and contrast the myth versus the reality of the major developments that occurred during the British Imperial Crisis (“taxation without representation,” the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Lexington and Concord, etc.).
One of the biggest myths from this era concerns the Boston Massacre, which wasn’t really a massacre considering that there were only 5 deaths total. However, the event was spun by the colonial writers into a major incident of British brutality against the colonists.
However, I’m not sure if there are any other myths surrounding the other events
