Galilean Telescope :
i) Galilean telescope contains two lenses.
ii) The lens which is towards the object is called as objective lens. It is a convex lens of larger focal length.
iii) The lens which is towards observer’s eye is called as eye piece. It is a diverging (concave) lens of less focal length.
iv) The image of the object is formed at the focal point of the objective lens.
