Are there any historical reasons to why Scandinavian women are so beautiful?
Although there is still a large amount of study that needs to be done on the subject, the consensus on this question is that it is largely due to kidnapping and slavery. In the Viking Age, it was common for raiders to steal men and women from the regions they were invading and to sell them as slaves. In general these Viking raiders would only pick the most beautiful and physically attractive individuals as they could be sold for the highest price. This meant that a large slave population of highly attractive individuals were imported into Scandinavia, which ensured that their descendants were more genetically predisposed to being attractive individuals.
