Are there any historical evidence to prove that Hercules was real?
This is a highly debated topic, and has been for millennia. Even ancient historians such as Livy and Dionysus of Halicarnassus debate the veracity of his existence, and there is no archaeological evidence to suggest that he was a real person. Theories abound as to his existence, but what may have occurred is that there was a powerful tribal figure that rose to power in Greece in the 6th or 7th centuries BC and oral history created a widely sensationalized version of his achievements. Hercules is one of the oldest mythological heroes of the Greco-Roman tradition, and altars dedicated to him have been found in both Rome and Greek colonies from as early as the 6th century BC
