Analyze how to Hindu system reincarnation supported the Indian caste system
The Hindu system of reincarnation is based on the idea that after one dies their Karma determines their fate and if they have good Karma they will reincarnate to a higher caste and eventually attain Moksha, or a divine state of being, whereas if they have bad Karma they move down in caste and are further away from being taken out of the system of reincarnation for Moksha. A person’s Karma is determined by how well they perform their Dharma, or duty, during life. A person’s Dharma is determined by their caste. So in short people wanted to fulfill the requirements of the caste system to reincarnate in a better life.
