Agl crystallises in cubic close-packed ZnS structure. What fraction of tetrahedral sites is occupied by ${{Ag}^{+}}$ ions?

In the face centred unit cell of Agl, there are four ${{Ag}^{+}}$ ions and four ${{I}^{-}}$ ions. As there are four ${{I}^{-}}$ ions in the packing, therefore there are eight tetrahedral voids. Out of these, half are occupied by silver cations
