A scientist finds that the soil she is examining is composed of many different colors? what might have caused this to occur?
I don’t know why this is a computer science question, but I’ll have a go at it…color is a property of the various elements and compounds that make up the soil, which by its definition is a composition of various elements and compounds.
Alright, what is the scientists using to view the soil that might affect how she interprets the colors?
Secondly, if the scientists is not wearing anything that affects her visual interpretation of colors, the soil could have a thin film immediately on top of it that reflects different colors from various angles. Similar to how a rainbow is created.
In all honesty, this is not a Computer Science question. Maybe a physics question?
