A driver sets out on a journey. For the first half of the distance she drives at the leisurely pace of 30 mi/h; she drives the second half at 60 mi/h. What is her average speed on this trip?

Answer:

pretty sure it’s just 45… don’t look at it too complicated

Since the time is equal both when she drove at 30 m/h and 60 m/h, just add 30+60 and then divide by 2. That should give you 45m/h.
