A container is filled with water and attached to a rope. Holding the free end of the rope, you whirl the container around in a horizontal circle at a constant speed. There is a hole in the container, so that as you whirl it, water continually leaks out. Explain what, if anything, you feel as the water leaks out.
You should not feel anything. As the constant speed causes a constant centripetal force on the fluid. The fluid is then “in” the bucket. Seeing how there is a hole (depending on its location) not knowing that it is hard to cipher if the pressure created by the fluid could cause it to push out.
